We are particularly pleased as Tom will be speaking to all segments of our community:

  • Youth: Tom will speak to High School students grades 10-12.
  • Business: Tom's creative and energetic approach to building success through unique and authentic marketing will be shared with local businessesin a cocktail hour reception.
  • Community: Finally, he will speak to our community at large at Chatelach High School on how to balance family, work and life inorder to enjoy fulfillment from all three.

New for 2011-2012!

The Pro Bono clinic, Home Alone program, Financial Literacy, Legal Information Program and of course informal Community Information and Resource Counselling will all be running in the fall of 2011!

As a result of another partnership, computer training and mentoring has been taken over by the Senior's Centre, using computers purchased for the purpose by the CRC. The income tax and form-filling programs are now also handled by a skilled team at the Senior's Centre.

We are also very happy to welcome Ann Burns (Community Counsellor) and Julie Gibson (Legal Information Services Co-ordinator) to the CRC. They both bring a wealth of knowledge and experience and definitely will be an asset to the community.

We’ve Moved Again!

Our Newest Location is the Cowrie Professional Building: 5700 Cowrie St., Lower Suite #1, Sechelt. Mailing address is still: P.O. Box 1443, Sechelt, BC V0N 3A0

A Time of Transition

In an effort to honour our commitment to keeping community needs front and center, we are looking for your input. We believe that your input is crucial as we are faced with developing and implementing new programs.

  • Where do you see the gaps in service?
  • Is there a need in our community that you see that is not being met?
  • Is there a program or service that we could create a partnership around?
  • How can we help each other?

Send us your thoughts to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  Since our incorporation as a society 18 years ago, we have been one of the Sunshine Coast’s key service providers and our plan is to continue to carry on this tradition.
